Prof John Beddington, UK Chief Scientist is quoted “By 2030 the demand for resources will create a crisis with dire consequences. Demand for food and energy will jump 50% by 2030 and for fresh water by 30%, as the population tops 8.3 billion.”

There is an urgent need for “a world of difference.”

world.edu will fuse the knowledge, technology, creativity and entrepreneurship of people and organisations that exists around the globe.

AA simple definition of competitive advantage is ‘differentiation.’ The exclusive domain name world.edu provides an intuitive and distinguishable web address for the project - a distinct differentiation from other existing sites.

We are inviting you to join us in this journey - as a gold level partner of the world.edu web site and community.

Partners

world.edu is scheduled to be launched globally in February 2010.

There will be only five (5) Gold partners globally for the community.

Partners will contribute $10,000 USD each with $2,500 payable on signing the agreement, $2,500 on the 31st January 2010 and the balance within 7 days of the launch of the site in February 2010.

Partners will have their logo displayed within the ‘partners’ boxes on pages throughout the site.

Partners will be entitled to post ‘green’ job positions on the site, promotion options for conferences and events, publishing of articles on research and current environment and sustainable development matters related to the company.

The second stage of partnership will include participation in the ideas market, profile and social networking services for staff.

The initial marketing thrust will be in Australia, United Kingdom and the United States.

Comparitive logo display CPM rates would be 23 cents based on projected page views in year 1.

Gold partners will be entitled to create their own profile page within the world.edu community.

This page can contain company information, contact details, press releases, staff profiles........ in fact whatever you wish to promote your company and services.

Note:Note: advertisements will not be displayed on gold partner profile pages to avoid any conflicts with competitors.

Gold partners will be entitled to advertise appropriate events within the world.edu community.

Gold partners will be entitled to submit press releases, product or service news to the Business section of the world.edu community.

world.edu will be a leader in the promotion of environmental and sustainable development courses, product development and innovative ideas.

RelationshipsRelationships and friendships will be forged around common interests and goals. Groups will create their own learning spaces and discussion points where they will come together to find answers, debate and collaborate on projects and ventures.
