The Hague; Binnenhof and Mauritshuis

Half an hour away from Rotterdam, on the North Sea coast, you find a unique city. Not onlythe residence of the nation’s royal head of state and the government, but also the world’s cityof justice and peace; The Hague. In addition, The Hague has been synonymous with worldclass painting for centuries.

The programme includes a visit to the Binnenhof, the political centre of The Netherlands, aswell as the Mauritshuis Museum (www.mauritshuis.nl) and Pulchri Studio (www.pulchri.nl),both famous for their fabulous art. The day will be ended with shopping in ”The Passage”, theonly remaining example in Holland in this type of covered shopping streets, popular in majorEuropean and American cities in the second half of the 19th century.

We will meet at the Manhattan Hotel at 08.45 and take the 09.02 train to The Hague. We willbe back in Rotterdam at 17.15 hours.

The participation fee for this tour is e55.00 (excl. VAT). It includes return train ticket toThe Hague, lunch, coffee, entrance fees and guide.
