Summary: This part-time position will be responsible for sales activities and creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all customers, assists with merchandise selections, processes sales transactions, maintains the physical appearance of the Store and completes opening and closing procedures. He/she should be extremely comfortable talking to the public, patient, and outgoing. Primary Responsibilities • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service • Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features • “Go the extra mile” to drive sales • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas • Actively seek out customers in store • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options • Cross sell products • Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service • Build productive trust relationships with customers Requirements: • Minimum 2 years retail experience; 3-5 years preferred • Experience running a cash register/POS system; knowledge on Quick Books POS system preferred • Excellent communications skills.
