1.2 Benefits or impacts if problem is solvedMinimizing costs is means lower charges of electric bills. Saving energy also leads to a greener world by conserving natural resources and also reduces carbon footprint.

1.1 Problem statementTerrorism has devastating effects on humanity. What are the most effective ways to reduce it?Benefits or impacts if problem is solvedRisk of going into another war is lowered significantly.

Problem descriptionTerrorism has always been a sadistic act and has a very big impact to the world. It destroys places and buildings, takes away lives and ultimately, disturbs the balance of relationships between countries. One notable example of terrorism is 911. How do we overcome, or at least minimize the chance of being terrorized?

ENGINEERING CONTRADICTION”CORRUPTION”

If we have do better in overcoming corruption, then more power and resources can be restored to the

rightful leader of the country but it takes time and energy to overcome

this major problem.

ENGINEERING CONTRADICTION”LACK OF EDUCATION”

If more people are educated, then more people will have better

judgement on what things should and shouldn’t be done but it takes

time and resources to obtain proper education
