– National Commissioning Board– GP Consortia

• Primary Care Trusts and Strategic Health Authorities to be abolished• Public Health to sit within Local Authorities• Regulation of quality of health and care will be with Care Quality

Commission (CQC)• Economic regulation of GP Consortia and the setting of health care tarriffs

will be with Monitor• LINks will become HealthWatch with increased roles including advocacy• Dept of Health will become Dept of Public Health• Secretary of State will retain certain powers centrally
