Münster is a beautiful historical city with a hinterland full of surprises. Impressive Schloss Nordkirchen with its parks is one of the Münsterland’s most popular tourist attractions. In days gone by, the park of Wasserburg Hülshoff was a favourite with the poet Annette von Droste-Hülshoff, who was born here.

The region around Düsseldorf is a true treasure trove. As one of the Rhineland’s largest moated palaces, Schloss Dyck is situated on three islands in the middle of a 70 hectares park and garden landscape. The 200-year-old park of Prince Joseph, now restored, is complemented by a multitude of new gardens, different exhibitions in the palace, children’s programmes and a comprehensive programme of events.
