What this video isn't...
● A touristic view point or guide.
● A selection of global impersonal shops windows
● Initially my aim was to go to the Champs Elysées, pick 6 stores and make a video with the song ''Aux Champs Elysées''. But I changed my mind. There, shops are international brands that you can find everywhere else. The Champs Elysées are just a huge, glamorous, global window.

What really matters...
● Getting a local result
● Chosing daily life Parisian places
● Picking ''shops around the corner'', which I am used to attending or passing by, in order to find new aspects and get a new prospective.
● Focusing on hidden details

What you'll see if you pay attention
● References to Xmas, Halloween & autumn
● A house without its door
● Sand boxes with different colors
● A pirate parrot
● Chinese, smiling, little characters
● Little french cakes
● The proof that girls/boys toys are distinct
● An unusual Game Boy & a drawing of the Eiffel Tower
● A strange expression in the eyes of a fish
● A horizontal green bean while the others are vertical

What that experience showed evidence...
● Paying attention to details and what you do allows to have a more accurate perception of what is around you.
● We remember faster details than wholes. ● Chosing familiar places allows to rediscover the shops, their managers and the way products are merchandized.
● Sales people did not always accept pictures for fear of being copied or interrupted. Therefore, there is no photo of them here.
