SAINT FRANCIS PET BLESSING OCTOBER 6TH Bring your beloved pet to St. Theresa, Saturday, October 6th at 9:30 a.m. for the Blessing of the Animals. The pet blessing is in honor of the Feast Day of St. Francis of Assisi, October 4th. We are having a Pet Food Drive benefiting the Pet Food Bank of Austin and Travis County. LITURGY OF THE WORD WITH CHILDREN LWWC will begin on Sunday, October 7 at the 9:00 Mass. Prayer leaders and cantors are still needed for this ministry. MONTESSORI-BASED PROGRAM OFFERED THIS FALL

St. Theresa is offering Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, CGS, for children ages 3-6 years old, and is currently surveying families to learn of the best time for this program. CGS is a Montessori-based religious formation program that seeks to create and facilitate a sacred, “hands-on” space for children called an atrium, in which both the children and the catechists can hear, ponder, and celebrate the mysteries of the Christian faith.
