We have found the Messiah:

Jesus Christ, who brings us

truth and grace.

John 1:35-42

Before Communion:

Father, may we celebrate the

eucharist with reverence and

love, for when we proclaim the

death of the Lord you continue

the work of his redemption,

who is Lord for ever and ever.

Communion Antiphon:

The Lord has prepared a feast

for me: given wine in plenty for

me to drink.

After Communion:

Lord, you have nourished us

with bread from heaven. Fill us

with your Spirit, and make us

one in peace and love.

Jesus calls us to follow Him and stay with Him!

But unless we hear His call and respond by transforming our lives,

evidenced by the simple willingness to be obedient to God’s will, we

cannot be true disciples of Christ.

This means more than just keeping the commandments; it mean our

lives are directed to waiting and listening for God’s self-revelation.

Sometimes this revelation can come through others – perhaps in

their cry for help.

Sometimes the revelation comes through prayer where we take time

to listen to God.

Sometimes the revelation comes through the Liturgy, during a homily

or general intercessions.

When we respond to this call, or revelation,

then, and then only, will we become true disciples of Christ.
