Please keep our guests and those who will be working to make their stay comfortable and restful in your prayers. Summer Story Time will continues this coming Wednesday, June 19 at 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM. Children will gather in the children’s Chapel downstairs and parents will gather in the church library. Vacation Bible School is set for Monday, July 8 – Friday, July 12, 9- noon of Mon.-Thurs. and 9-11 am on Fri. As in past years, Peace Lutheran Church will partner with us to create a fun and exciting time for our little ones. The theme of VBS this year is “Cruising the Holy Land”. Invite your friends, grandchildren, neighbors – the community is welcome! We’ll need lots of adults and junior helpers; let Ann Backus know if you can help during VBS week. Registration forms are available in Henslee Hall and online. Today is Father’s Day! Thanks to everyone for participating in Ugly Tie Father’s Day. Please join us for a Cookie Sunday Reception after each service to honor fathers and all men who have made a difference in our lives. On Sunday, June 30, Good Samaritan will observe Independence Day – the 4 th of July. To celebrate, we’ve designated that day as Red, White & Blue Jeans Sunday. The diverse array of programs highlights Harmony’s commitment to excellence, a collaborative spirit, their passion for knowledge and focus on family. Beginning in 2019, Good Sam began hosting Harmony’s monthly FUSE groups, support groups for foster or adoptive families. They are also hosting several adoption/guardianship preparation classes, a requirement by the state for anyone who is permanently caring for a child. Good Sam’s Youth Ministry, Sinead Doherty works at Harmony as a Family Therapist. Last week’s offering of $927 has been designated to go to Cherokee Health Systems. Thank you for your generosity! We welcome all guests to Good Samaritan. Please take a moment to fill out the pew card and place it in the offering plate or give it to an usher. Activity packs are available for children. Following the service, please join us for Coffee Hour in Henslee Hall and pick up a newcomer’s information packet. Our ushers and greeters are happy to assist you!

We have assisted listening devices for those who have trouble hearing during the service. Please look for them in the narthex or ask one of the ushers for assistance. We have large print copies of the Book of Common Prayer for those who need them (8:30 AM service). We also have large print bulletins available for the 11 AM service. The ushers can help you locate them.

NURSERY (age 3 and under) is provided in the church nursery for both the early and late service. Children may be picked up for communion or immediately after the service.

CHILDREN'S CHAPEL (3 years - rising 1st grade): All children will begin church with their families and then those 3 years to rising 1st grade who choose may follow the cross to Children's Chapel after the Gospel. Children will then return to receive communion with their families.
