Parex Standard Colours are the forty most popular colourschosen by designers. Explore the clarity achieved through thehighest quality pigments available.

COLOUR MATCHING

Due to our unique tinting process we are able to offer the designeran infinite choice of colour options. We are able to match any colourfrom the BS, RAL, Dulux and other colour systems. We currentlyhave over 30,000 colour formulations and we are able to producethese or new colours within 2 - 3 days subject to manufacturingcapacity.

DURABILITY

Our unique formulation uses 100% acrylic polymers (Do not getconfused with a small percentage approx 1 - 2% of silicone added.Silicone added into the acrylic finish provides no discernablebenefit and can cause chalking of the surface over time). Theacrylic polymeric bonding in our DPR acrylic finishes form a toughsurface yet remains pliable and is vapour permeable preventingweather penetration but allowing the building to breath.

Parex 100% acrylic finishes stay fresher longer, resisting fading,chalking, and yellowing. In cyclical weathering tests the finishesresist colour wash, peel adhesion and wet abrasion using a stiffbrush being scrubbed back and forth.

ATTENTION

Please note that colours printed on this chart may be subject tovariations when reproduced on paper. To obtain a 1 litre coloursample pot or an individual 200 x 200 mm sample please contactParex. Final colour approval is the responsibility of the customerand should be made after reviewing an actual sample.

SOLAR ABSORPTION

Please note dark colours with a solar absorption coefficient over0.7 are more sensitive to colour alteration, efflorescence, limebloom and to climatic constraints. Ensure that humidity andtemperature conditions are taken into account when they are used.If a dark colour is required we strongly recommend you use Parex600 CLEAR SEALER OR 610 MATT CLEAR SEALER to provideadditional protection to your DPR finish from harmful UV light.

PLEASE NOTE

The shade of the same colour may also differ dependent upon thefinishing aspect; e.g. The colour of a Sand Fine finish adjacent to aSwirl Coarse finish in the same colour may appear to look differentwhen viewed next to each other. This colour chart is a standard range of available colours. Parex are able to offer a bespoke service of colours to match BS, RAL,Dulux or other paint system colours.
