Attendance

• Regular and punctual attendance is an important responsibility of the parent and student. Absence disrupts the continuity of the education making it difficult not only for the student but for the teacher as well.

• School begins promptly at 10 AM with the Assembly ( watch for time change ). • Students more than 15 minutes late to the assembly must go to the office first. • When a student comes after the assembly is over he / she must obtain a late pass

from the office before going to the class. • A record of three consecutive tardy events will initiate a meeting with the parent. • A total of four unexcused absences can result in the cancellation of the student‛s

registration. Seat will be assigned to next child on the wait list. • Parents are responsible for notifying the school office for excused absence. • Homework should be collected from the teacher and returned to the teacher after

completion.

Quizzes and Exam

Students must take the weekly and monthly tests and the Final Exam on the scheduled dates. Quizzes are given in the class at the discretion of the class teacher. Failure to take the final exam will result in repeating the same class unless prior arrangements are made to schedule an earlier exam. A written request has to be submitted to the office in advance. Grading Based on … Attendance, Home Work, Quizzes, Class participation, Behavior and Final Exam If a student is placed on a probationary status the teacher will require parent teacher‛s meeting to encourage the students and work together to improve student‛s grades and performance. Meeting date could be scheduled with the teacher. School books and supplies Please make sure that all the books are purchased and labeled. It is important that students come to school with their text books and school supplies. It shows lack of interest and seriousness if the students come to school unprepared. School or the staff is not responsible for any lost or stolen item. Parents will have to replace any lost book by the student. If the purchased books are returned, they should be in their original condition. Returns with any writings are not accepted.

“O ALLAH, give us the good in this world and the good in the next world!”

As Muslims, we are obligated to prepare our children to live an Islamic life, respecting and abiding by the principles of Qur‛an and Sunnah. The need for an Islamic Sunday School emerges as a survival tool for all Muslim children and to such families who cannot afford a regular Islamic School.

Our Sunday School is an extension of the parents‛ efforts to instill Islamic practice / values into a young mind. It is the wholesome environment of Islam that promotes brotherhood, consciousness of ALLAH, religious identity and an acceptable atmosphere to practice the Deen.

The students are given Islam across the curriculum, to produce intelligence with ALLAH‛s laws as a basis for thinking and learning. A Muslim child without an Islamic education has little or no resistance to Shaitan. Our school aims at providing all the essentials to promote “the good in this life” and strives to secure “the good in the next life”, insha‛Allah. We pray that you understand and appreciate this golden opportunity and strive wholeheartedly to support this effort.
