What is a Bursars Hold?

Placed on a students tuition account with an outstanding balance. When a student needs to take immediate action on incomplete financial aid. The hold will restrict students from registering and withdrawing from classes, receiving grades and requesting transcripts.

Credit On My Tuition Account

After all charges have been satisfied refunds may be requested. carried over to the next semester.

The Bursars Office will not automatically transfer fundsthe student must initiate the action.must submit appropriate forms (may be obtained online or at the Bursars Office).

TUITION REFUND POLICYUpon The Start of the Semester First week = 80% Second week = 60% Third week = 40% Fourth week = 20%

After fourth week : No Refund

TUITION REFUND INSURANCEConcerned with the student who suffers a serious illness or accident and has to leave McDaniel College before the semester is completed. In many instances, it means not only the loss of time invested in studies but also the loss of the semester's costs.

The Tuition Refund Plan

Will minimize the financial portion of the loss. Elective insurance plan provides coverage for tuition, room and board charges. A.W.G.
