Instructional Packets for Pre-Kindergarten thru 8th Grade will be available for pick up at Duke Ellington at Beckham next week, Wednesday – Friday, April 22-24th from 9:00am-1:00pm ONLY. After those dates,
then families will need to pick up packets from one of the other 17 district school sites. No Food will be available at Duke Ellington at Beckham.

Tracking Student Participation (Attendance)
• All assignments are enrichment, but All students should PARTICIPATE
• Lessons will help prepare students for the Fall when school returns
• Student participation will be monitored Daily and Tracked on PowerSchools (Tuesday and Friday)
• What counts as Participation: • Every day a student logs in to Teams for class or ANY online instructional platform
• Students Completing Sheets in the Instructional Packet
• Any telephone interactions or communication with students and parents
• Weekend Connects Count Also

Family Check-Ins
Our goal is that every student is engaged every day! Daily Online Lessons & Weekly Calls to check on wellness, academics and socio-emotional needs.
• They attend Teams Sessions and classes online or phone
• Additional staff members will also make contact once a week to answer questions, offer support and assess needs.
• Calls will primarily be a (313) or (248) phone number
• Staff member will always identify who they are and their role
