TEACHER IN-SERVICE DAYS: Thursday, August 31st will be a Teacher In-Service day, and Friday, September 1st will be a Diocesan Teacher In-Service day. No school on both these days. The school office will be closed on both days. LABOR DAY HOLIDAY: Monday, September 4th is Labor Day Holiday. SCHOOL VISITORS: All visitors and parent volunteers need to report to the school office to sign in and request a visitor’s badge. PICTURE DAY: Picture day will be Thursday, September 7th. All students must be in full school uniform. Students in grades 6th – 8th must wear a white polo shirt. Picture order forms are going home with students today. SPIRIT DAY CHANGES FOR NEXT WEEK: Next week our Spirit Day will move to Friday, Sept. 8th. This change is necessary because Picture Day is on Thursday, Sept. 7th, and all students must be in full school uniform. HARVEST FEST RAFFLE: The raffle is a large source of income generated from Harvest Fest. Each student is required to buy or sell 3 books of tickets. Each raffle book contains 15 tickets and sells for $12.00 each. Individual tickets are sold at $1.00 a ticket. For each book of tickets that is sold, the students will be entered into the weekly drawings and the grand prize drawing on Sept. 29th. Please see the attached flyer with raffle drawing updates. ALUMNI NEWS: Are you an Alumni of St. Anne's School? We need alumni to fill all mass positions at the Harvest Fest Alumni Mass on Saturday, September 30th at 5:30pm - lectors, ushers, Eucharistic ministers, greeters, altar servers and music. UNIFORM SOCK POLICY: Students need to be wearing white crew socks or white knee high socks. Navy blue or black socks are not part of our uniform. Please refer to the uniform policy on page 35-36 of the school handbook. HARVEST FEST T-SHIRT ORDERS: Order your Harvest Fest T-shirt now. The shirts are DriFit shirt and sell for $14.00 each. Orders placed by September 14th will guarantee the size and quantity you order. Students may wear these shirts on the Friday before Harvest Fest. Please see attached order form. SECOND SUNDAY IS SCHOOL MASS: The second Sunday of each month the church collects an offering to help our school. The second collection at this Mass is dedicated to us. Students are encouraged to wear their uniform to Mass on the second Sunday to show our community who they are supporting when they give their donation for St. Anne’s Catholic School. A student in uniform can earn a “Mass Pass” for free dress when they greet the celebrating Priest after Mass on this day. ST. ANNE’S TALENT SHOW: It’s time to start thinking about this year’s Talent Show! The talent show will take place on Saturday, September 30th at 2:30 pm. Please see the attached sign up form. Campus Care will be available, students will need to bring lunch from home if staying for Campus Care. 8th GRADE CONFIRMATION MEETING: There will be an 8th Grade Confirmation Parent and student meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 12th at 6:00 pm in the church

BINGO SCHEDULE: Please be sure to check the Bingo schedule on Educate for your assigned shift. SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS: All parent volunteers must be fingerprinted and cleared through the Diocese of Stockton, need to fill out a volunteer packet, and do an online course at www.shieldthevulnerable.org in order to volunteer in the classroom or go on field trips. Packets are available in the office. MASS CARDS: Please remember to place your Mass Attendance cards in the collection basket when you go to Mass. Mass attendance verification will be reviewed at in May. If you did not receive your Mass cards please stop by the school office. BINGO SIGN-UP: If you have not signed up for Bingo yet please do so by contacting Amy Martin at [email protected]. The bingo schedule is posted on Educate (Cornerstone). ONLINE PAYMENT UPDATE: Payments for lunch can be made online. See the Pay Online link on our school web page at stanneslodi.org/school. STUDENT MEDICATION: In order to dispense any medication to ! students, the Diocese of Stockton requires that we have a Parent Request for Administration of Medication Form on file. This form requires a parent and doctor’s signature. The form must be renewed every year. School staff will not dispense any medication if this form is not on file, with the exception of cough drops. All medication including inhalers and cough drops must be kept in the office. A medication form is attached to this newsletter.

NO PARKING: Please remember that the white zone on Pleasant Street is a loading zone from 7:00am- 4:00pm on school days. Should you need to enter the school, please park in a parking space along the street or parish parking lot. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION MEETING: There will be a First Holy Communion parent meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 19th at 6:oo pm in the church.
