Paralympics.
On 1 September 2012, Hassiem
won a bronze medal in the 100 m
butterfly, setting a new African

Mpumelelo Mhlongo

Johannesburg, Mhlongo
became the South African T44
champion in the 100m, 200m,
long jump and high jump.
He surpassed the automatic
qualification standards for the
IPC World Championships in all

records for the latter two.
