WHAT IS A PAK POPPER?Pak Poppers are small plastic triangles to assist opening the backing of a Medico Pak to administer dose time medication.

These are available at no charge.

THE THREE P’s PLACE, PUSH, PULL

a • PLACE the pak on a firm surface, face down. • PLACE the popper at the edge of the circle on the back of the pack.

b c• PUSH the popper’s point down into the pack and pierce the backing

• PULL the cut away edge in the corner of the blister is your removable edge. The circled corner on the backing indicates where the removable edge is. This can be peeled back to reveal the medicines to be given.

HOLDING ON TO APAK POPPER

The Poppers can be either tied to the packs or clipped onto the edge of the Medico Pak.
