PANORAMA

Created May 29th, 2011

All portfolio pieces are created by Joey Methé. Each piece represents an eccentric yet cohesive series of mouse clicks combined with hours of braintwisting expression. The creative process in which these creations materialized combined original, collaborative and remixed methods.

DepartmentThe Criminology Department

is a vibrant research community

composed of 34 professors and dozens

of graduate students. The department

aimed at regulating behavior that

could be defined as criminal and

the consequent social responses it

engenders. FinancingA faculty policy guarantees all new students

registered in a Ph.D. program, who have

satisfied all necessary requirements, a

minimum financial support of $19,000

during each of the four years of their

doctoral studies. A fifth year of funding is

possible under certain conditions.

Program Components

Doctoral Seminars I and II : Study of

fundamental issues in criminology and

areas of specialization of the members

of the department.

Methodology Seminar: Study of the

components needed to design and

conduct a major research project.

Comprehensive Examination :

Writing, presentation and defence of

two specialized papers.

Thesis Project : Writing, presentation

and defence of the thesis project.

Doctoral Thesis : Writing,

presentation and defence of an original

research project.

Come and visit the campus,

meet the professors and get all

the answers to your questions.
