In line with Macau SAR government’s objective to utilize

Macau’s high quality world cultural heritage tour as the

main tourism product, cross-departmental cooperation

will focus on the utilization and improvement of tourism

and cultural resources, so as to achieve a closer

integration and interaction between tourism and various

cultural elements.

Macau Tourism and Cultural Activities Center opens with new features

The Macau Tourism and Cultural

Activities Centre located next to the Ruins

of St. Paul's was opened on 27 Sept 2011.

The Center will provide a variety of

services to the Macau residents and

visitors to further enrich Macau's tourism

resources and will carry out a series of

activities for optimizing the usage and

development of the Cultural Tourism and

Creative Industry.

2/F : Macau Tea Story

• A Chinese Tea-Art Showroom display tea-art and provide tea tasting with Macau specialty snacks to show to tourists about Macau traditions. Promotion of Tea and events will be held in the venue, as well as, Tea and tea product, handicrafts and souvenirs sales.

• Opening hours: Daily from 10:00 to 19:00 (Close on Tuesday)

1/F : LUSITANUS Find Portugal in Macau

• Tourists can enjoy Portuguese style coffee with Portuguese egg tarts and other traditional delicacies, while enjoying traditional Portuguese performance, demonstration of Portuguese handicrafts. It also include a Gourmet shop and Handicraft and design shop.

• Opening hours: Daily from 10:00 to 19:00 Saturday from 10:00 to 23:00

G/F : Multi Service Floor

• The Ground Floor features: tourist information assistance, Tourist Related Service information plus a showcase and sales of the “Made-in-Macau” brand products.

• Opening hours: Made-in-Macau: Daily from 09:00 to 19:00 / Tourist Information: Daily from 09:00 to 18:00

B1 : Macau Creative Pavillion

• Macau Creative Pavilion is jointly operated by Cultural Affairs Bureau and Macau local creative entities, to display and sale Macau locally developed creative works.

• Opening hours: Daily from 09:00 to 20:00

B2: Virtual Macau Experience

Exhibit pictures of Macau World Heritage Sites, Macau latest developments and hospitality facilities.

MGTO and Macau Pedicab Drivers Union ink agreement to

showcase cultural tourism resource on 7th Oct 2011

The agreement also includes revamp and face lift for 60 pedicabs, while members

of the Macau Pedicab Driver Union will wear uniforms provided by MGTO at work

and show hospitality to the passengers.

Every Thursday to Sunday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm

from October until the end of this year, pedicabs will be placed at Company of

Jesus Square in front of the Ruins of St Paul's, Barra Square in front of the A-Ma

Temple, Senado Square and Avenida da Praia in Taipa for visitors to take photos.

the sea touring product – “Macau Harbour Cruise”

Start point: Ponte No. 12 (Inner Harbour)/

Organizer: Macau Cruise Development Co. Ltd

The harbour cruise, sails from the historical inner harbour, along the famous

tourist attractions like A-Ma Temple, Macau Tower, Macau Taipa Bridge,

Maritime Museum, Kum Iam Ecumenical Centre etc, giving you a comfortable

and enjoyable sightseeing.
