The Hurricane 4000 Series is a high-performance UL 1449 Listed Type 1 SPD designed for critical panels located in the harshestenvironments. The Surge Protective Device (SPD) achieves the highest UL performance ratings for the Nominal Discharge Current(In) and High Current (SCCR) tests while providing a low Voltage Protection Rating (VPR).
It is ideally suited for all NEC compliant locations including a UL96A Master Label Lighting Protection System and thus can bedeployed with complete confidence. In addition to its rugged performance, the Hurricane 4000 Series has a new Smart-Diagnosticsystem that includes a multi-stage LED to indicate the exact level of protection present per phase, an audible alarm, remote signalcontacts and an optional surge counter.

The DS2x0-xxDC surge protector is designed to protect equipment connected to a DC power supply(or AC) against lightning surges. These devices are based on high energy varistors (MOV) matchedwith the DC operating voltage (from 12 to 350 Vdc).
The MOV are equipped with internal thermal disconnectors in order to provide safe end of life.

The MJ8 Series is designed to protect sensitive data-monitoring equipment connected to variousnetwork protocols from transient over voltages. The MJ8 Series surge protector is deployed in a RS-485 signal network applications with data transmission speeds of up to1000 Mbps.
The surge protector is housed in a shielded enclosure with high quality shielded RJ45 jacks. Thetransient protection circuit is based on high energy gas discharge tubes (GDT) and a network of fastresponse silicon avalanche diodes (SAD) to achieve sharp clamping of very large surge events.
