Spider Snacks During circle time we discussed what can live in trees. Spiders was one of

the insects that was named. For our afternoon snack we used crackers, cream cheese, raisins and pretzel sticks to make our own spider snacks!

Fine Motor and Language We used magazines to cut out pictures and identified the beginning letter.

The class then sorted the pictures by letter and used some of them in a literacy project.

My Fire Truck After being visited by the BCC Fire and Rescue Squad at our Harvest Festival, the Pandas drew pictures of what their own fire truck would look like. Each

child was able to use their imagination and created something unique.

Please change out your child’s extra clothes for fall weather! We will be exploring the letter Pp next week! Please assist your child in making a list of things in your home that begin with the letter P. This will engage their literacy and fine motor skills. We will be practicing the number 9, nine with our number poem and the color white. Our field trip will be on Friday, October 31st. We will be going to Butler’s Orchard. Please arrive by 9AM. We will be eating lunch at Butler’s Orchard, please bring a bag lunch.
