1 Introduction

The purpose of this document is to setup the Windows 10 computer to be able to

use NLS website.

Most user cannot differentiate the browser that they use in Windows 10 due to

the icon looks similar between Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge

(Windows 10 default browser).

Microsoft Edge is a new browser created by Microsoft base on Mozilla. Another

mozilla browser type is Google Chrome and Firefox.

NLS will NOT work with Mozilla browser perfectly.

2 Steps Summary

The setup step summary is:

1. Unpin the Microsoft Edge (not Uninstall) 2. Pin the Microsoft Internet Explorer 3. Add the NLS website to the compatibility mode

2.1 Unpin the Microsoft Edge

Microsoft Edge icon:

If the Microsoft Edge icon exist in the taskbar below, you can unpin it by Right clicking on the icon and choose “Unpin”:

If can’t find this icon, then this step can be skipped.

2.2 Pin the Microsoft Internet Explorer

Look for the Microsoft Internet Explorer with this step:

1. Click the search button on the task bar. 2. Type: “Internet Explorer” and will automatically find like this screenshot

below:

3. Then right click the icon and choose “Pin to task bar”:

As a result, the icon is in the task bar:

2.3 Add the NLS website to the compatibility mode

Please use this step to add the NLS website to the compatibility mode:

1. Go to nls website: a. Internet: www.logistics.panasonic.com.sg b. Or intranet: nls.ma.panasonic.com.sg

2. Then add it to the compatibility mode with this step: a. Click the setting button on the top right:

b. Choose “Compatibility View settings”:

c. Click “Add”:
