The Panametrics Model 25DL-HP UltrasonicThickness Gage makes fast and accuratethickness measurements from one side of apart with no need to cut or drill holes. It isuniquely designed for materials such as fiberglass, composites, rubber, and castingsthat are difficult or impossible to measureusing standard ultrasonic thickness gages.The 25DL-HP’s low frequency capability offersunmatched ultrasound penetration in thesematerials which tend to scatter and absorbultrasound energy due to conditions such asgrain structure and internal fibers.

Internal DataloggerThe 25DL-HP’s extensive datalogger allowsyou to store, recall, and transmit more than5,000 thickness readings along with

alphanumeric Identification Codes. All storedinformation can be uploaded through its RS-232 Interface to a computer. The 25DL-HP’son-board Statistics Calculator generates reportsthat can be viewed on the gage's display ortransmitted directly to a printer. Stored datacan also be imported into spread sheets andother application software.

ApplicationsThe Multi-Mode 25DL-HP is a very versatilethickness gage. It can be used with contact,delay line, and immersion transducers tosolve a wide variety of thickness measurementproblems. The 25DL-HP’s low-frequency capability makes it ideal for the followingapplications:
