State of the art advanced engineering centre for research, consultancy and manpowertraining in Automotive Infotronics is established at Vellore Institute of Technology,

promoted by TIFAC (Technology Information Forecast and Assessment Council),

under the Mission REACH program.

Offers a full time PG program in Automotive Electronics to provide industry readyengineers.

Background

Emerging wireless connectivity standards / technologies deliver opportunities for rapidad hoc connections and the possibility of automatic, unconscious, connections

between devices which provide much more powerful and flexible alternative to the

wired Networks.

This workshop covers the technical background from wireless networkingtechnologies to mobile information systems.
