Pampa Lifeline First Baptist June 26, 2020 Volume 73 Number 6 My God shall supply all of your needs, according to His riches in glory! God continues to bless our church through the faithful giving of our people! In the last 10 years, budget receipts through May have ranged from deficits of ($67,000) to ($150,000), except for 2014 that we were ahead of budget. Almost always FBC Pampa has made budget by the end of the year, but it is highly unusual to be on the positive side going into summer months. Through May 2020, our budget receipts are $17,599 over budget. And, due to con- trolled spending and reduced activities and building use, our expenditures are $75,473 less than receipts year-to- date. All the while we have continued to give to our local, national, and international missions causes, and funded our essential ministries locally. In the last two weeks we have installed a new main sound board for the worship center and relocated an older sound board to The Vault to replace a failed piece of equipment. We are also in the process of a major upgrade to our fi- nancial and membership software. This has been budget- ed for a year and has been a major project to back-up da- ta and prepare for transfer to a new system. While many of you will never know any change from it, these up- grades will be a huge step towards greater efficiency in many of our administrative functions. Thank you for trusting the Lord through these days, and thank you to our staff for exercising restraint and pa- tience before addressing these and other pressing needs. Pastor Byron The Child Development Center needs your help. We need new or gently used chapter books, small books, and board games for children. Donations are greatly appreciated. Our in-town student ministry camp is in need of dona- tions for snacks. Click below or type this web address into your browser for a simple Amazon shopping list of needs. When you make the purchase, they will be deliv- ered directly to the church! Such a simple way to help this great ministry! shorturl.at/opu13
