“This internship was probably the best definition of ‘eye opening’ I’ve ever come across. I was immediately thrown into a group session of recovering addicts. At first, all the clients are faceless people with similar problems. However, soon their stories grab you and, at some point, you will find someone you relate to, someone in whom you see a piece of yourself. This experience got me out of bed in the morning with a smile on my face. I loved being there. I felt that I was actually doing something, actually helping others.” Stephen Nolan, 2010 Intern, MKA ’10, Juniata College ’14.
