What is Palmcop?
PALMCOP exists to provide its membership
with assistance in conserving and preserving
their collections. Any entity or individual
with museum, library, or archival materials –
public or private – is invited to join.
Benefits of Membership
PALMCOP organizes and sponsors a broad variety of educational opportunities for its membership.Programs and services are made available at a modest cost.Preservation specialists are available to help your staff preserve your valuable collections.
Palmcop Services
PALMCOP hosts the following events:An annual meeting on relevant preservation topics. (This year: Identification, Conservation and Digitization of Paper)
Day-long workshops focused on preservation practices (i.e. disaster recovery, book repair, etc...)
PALMCOP also offers:
Access to environmental monitoring equipment.
On-site consultations by PALMCOP preservation specialists.
A new Blog highlighting preservation topics.
