Introductio n of Mehran Bottlers Pvt. Ltd. :

Mehran bottlers (private) limited the first and the oldest manufacturer, distributor and

exporter of carbonated beverages in Pakistan. The company is based in Karachi, the commercial

hub of Pakistan. It produces the largest selling National soft drink (pakola).

Mission Statement:

The company mission is to provide its consumer all over the globe with premium

quality beverages with a vast variety that guarantees consumer satisfaction an also provide

opportunities for growth to its employees and the communities in which they operate.

Vision Statement:

Pakola has and will fulfill its promise to provide international quality beverages made

with the finest ingredients to its consumers and come up to their expectations at all costs.

The Brand Introducti o n:

Pakola is a line of fruit flavored soft drinks, originally introduced in Pakistan in 1950 by

Haji Ali Muhammad. It is produced byMehran Bottlers (Pvt) Ltd. It is the first nationally

branded soft drink of Pakistan. Hence its name Pakola meaning 'Cola of Pakistan.Pakola is one

of the most popular brands in Pakistan. The brand was created on 14th August, 1950. As per our

slogan, “DIL BOLA …. Pakola”, we believe that Pakola is the heart beat of the nation and with

its amazing taste holds the potential to ride the taste buds of the consumers at home and abroad.

Although the green drink “Pakola Ice Cream Soda” is aynonyms with the name Pakola, but

that’s not all, Pakola gives sensation by bottling other fruity flavors namely Pakola Orange,

Pakola Lychee, Pakola Raspberry, Pakola Fresh Lime and Pakola Vino.

Flavors of Pakola:

The company of Pakola produce different flaours of cold drink which include Pakola

orange, pakola rasberry, pakola blueberry, pakola lychee,fresh lime, vimto, apple sidra, bubble

up, double cola and vital (mineral water)

Painting The Globe Green:

Pakola is Pakistan's national drink but its might is spread all over globe. It’s the only

Pakistani soft drink which is available in North America, Africa, Europe, Far East, India,

Afghanistan and Middle East.

Pakola Flavored Milk:

Pakola flavored milk is actually not a product of pakola it is manufacture by Pepsi and it

is done without of any contract between these two companies as they have a good relation so

Pakola has no problem with it.

Value Chain:

Production:

Mehran bottler is the 1st bottling plant is South Asia. Which has been certified to

integrated management system based on (ISO 9001: 2000), (ISO 14001: 1996) and (RVA

HACCP) standard Pakola quality and food safety system follows the FDA GMP requirements

and codex. Pakola products are manufactured under strict CGMP and Hygiene controls.

Mehran bottlers operate one of the most modern can filling plants in Pakistan with a

filling capacity of 200 cans per minute. The plant is fully computerized and conforms to the

highest international quality standards. Apart from the above, Mehran Bottlers also operate a

bottle filling plant with a capacity of 240 bottles per minute. The plant can fill both glass and pet

bottles of various sizes.

In addition to this, to retain the consumer with poor marketing plans and advertisements.

Backward Integration:

Mehran Bottlers have backward integration, which means that, they are producing their

final product by their own raw materials and from their own production plants.

following centralization and having tall structure.

management and are further carried by the middle management, because it is an centralized

organization.

Planning:

In this organization, the initial phase planning starts from the top management. In this

phase the top management is striving towards maximizing their profitability, mainly due to

expanding their budget of marketing campaign.

The will be launching their product in the month of Ramadan, because the product holds the

basic wants of Ramdan and Muharram.

Organizing:

In this stage, the company is dealing with the top management as well as the middle

management to enhance their launched/upcoming product. In this phase, top and middle

management combines together and implement their planning strategies.

For example:

The person we have visited, the procurement manager, he was dealing with the middle

management to enhance their upcoming product.

Leading:

In this phase, all the middle managers of different departments works together in a single

leadership in order to achieve the desired strategic goal, which help us the staff and lower

management to work together by sharing the different ideas and perspectives.
