Painting and DrawingBFA Portfolio Review

Students must sign up in FAV209 a week prior to the review(sign up sheet is located on the critique wall)

Requirements* A completed application form, available in the Art + Design office (FAV 122)* 15 paintings and/or drawings (actual work or digital images 1080x1080px or 1080x720px) Created since enrollment in USU Art and Design* Cur* Current unofficial transcript https://www.usu.edu/registrar/records/access* Satisfactory completion of Painting I and at least one intermediate painting class

General ExpectationsStudents applying for the BFA Painting&Drawing program are expected to demonstrate outstanding creativity via portfolio, which will also be used to examine the applicant’s ability to develop and execute the conceptual use of the medium with rrespect to the contemporary issues in art. During the Portfolio Review, students mustalso demonstrate verbal competency in discussing their work with the reviewers.
