History 2002 – St. Clair opens as Choice School with
AD Dress Code 2006 - Survey and parent meetings to
discuss expanding AD Policy to elementary buildings – favorable response
2007- Chestnut Elementary opens with AD Policy – parent survey shows positive response
2008 – Elm Street, Maple Elementaries and Heritage Middle open with AD Policy
2008 – Parent survey shows overwhelming support of AD Policy.
The Basics
Shirts - Polo Style, Dress Shirts, Turtlenecks
Colors – Red, White, Navy Blue Light Blue, Black
Pants, Skirts, Shorts, Capri's, JumpersColors – Black, Khaki, Navy Blue
Low Heel, Closed Toe And Heel Shoes Belts – Grade 3-8
Pants, Skirts, Shorts and Jumpers
Khaki, black or navy blue traditional flat front or pleated style pant is allowed. Corduroy and Capri pants are permitted in appropriate color and style
Garments must be appropriately sized and worn at the waist.
Skirt, skort or shorts - must extend to the top of the knee or below
Some pant styles not allowed: cargo, carpenter, painter, jeans, sweats
Outerwear
Only small district logos and approved colors are allowed for pullover sweatshirts. No Hoodies
Sweaters and vest– approved colors over approved shirts
