LOCAL PROJECTS

Leavenworth Free ClinicThe Leavenworth Free Clinic provides doctor visits, medication and lab work for local patients who cannot afford the care.

Our local physicians donate their time and expertise to make the Leavenworth Free Clinic operate as it does. We provide $100 a month to support and subsidize their efforts.

Community CupboardIn order to support the important work of the Community Cupboard we

donate $200 a month which is used for the food bank. This helps those in need in our local community. In support of their need for food we raised over $4,000 at RotaryFest 2010 to help in their cause.

Playground equipmentFor our 2008 Centennial Project we updated the playground equipment at

Enchantment Park. Our club spent over $40,000 and poured in hundreds of man/woman hours to bring this project to fruition. The equipment was purchased and installed by our own Leavenworth Rotary club members. Work began in 2005 and has continued in the years since. The most recent installation of new equipment is designed for children 2 to 5 years old.
