Carried unanimously. Mrs. Perdue reported two upcom- ing activities for family engagement. A STEM night is planned for Febru- ary 20, 2020 with 13 – 14 stations set up for the kids and families to try various activities. Porter the Hoard- er books have been ordered and will be distributed to the first grade stu- dents. The book will come with ma- terials for the student and family to work through with the book. Aimsweb testing for students grades K – 6 shows growth in read- ing and math. The math instruc- tional coach will be here again on Friday, January 24, 2020. She will help us interpret test data and try to help with determining interventions. The MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems for Support) committee are working on discipline plans as well as col- laboration between administration and staff. Mr. Heier reported the full day of professional development was held on January 13, 2020. Teachers and administrators worked collab- oratively within 4 person groups to come up with ideas for community involvement. Student interventions continue and we hope to see im- provement next week when eligibil- ity reports are completed. Semester two schedules are now locked in. Scheduling continues with 2020- 2021 basketball games as well as looking for additional JV football games for next fall. Coaches are needed for boys & girls golf and track & field. Mr. Schafer reported construction is going well and is actually ahead of schedule right now. Construction meetings have been changed to bi- weekly on Mondays at 2 p.m. Pending final interviews, the Wil- liams County Study should be com- pleted out to us in February. The Strategic Planning Committee met to look over the plan and adjusted some goal dates. The plan will be brought to the February board meet- ing. We received our AdvancEd/ Cognia Review report today. The review went well and we have re- ceived a good score. Mr. Schafer gave the bus report. The mini bus recently purchased is running great and is helping out with the bus shortage situation. The new gas bus is here. Bus #16 is down and it has been hard to get parts for it. Ottertail has hired a new driver but training and testing needs to be completed before driving. The building project was re- viewed. The first floor of the high school addition is being framed and is 85% complete. Next week they will be framing the second floor. The exterior windows and stairs are going in this week. The south addi- tion is going slow because of having to work around activities being held in the gym. A tuition free agreement was pre- sented from Tioga Public School District #15 for two students trans- ferring to Tioga for second semester. Motion was made by Olson second by Kupper to approve tuition free agreement #S2-2020-21 with Tioga Public School District #15. Carried unanimously. The Great Western Network 2020-2021 school year calendar was shared with the board. Keeping this schedule in mind, the 2020-2021 school calendar was tabled for fur- ther review. The board reviewed the calendar to set the school board election date. Our regular monthly meeting is set for May 19, 2020. Motion was made by Kupper second by Sigvaldsen to set the school board election date as May 12, 2020 with poles open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., at the Ray Public School. Carried unanimously. To aid in controls within the busi- ness office, the auditors are request- ing that one of the administrative assistants be given account inquiry authorization on the school district’s bank accounts to assist in the recon- ciliation process. Motion was made by Kupper second by Olson to au- thorize a designated administrative assistant to have account inquiry ac- cess only to the school district’s ac- counts. Carried unanimously. Discussion was held concerning the districts homeless and foster care policies and procedures. Mo- tion was made by Sigvaldsen second by Kupper to name Alesha Oster the district homeless liaison. Carried unanimously. Motion was made by Olson second by Sigvaldsen to name Alesha Oster the district foster care liaison. Carried unanimously. Motion was made by Kupper second by Olson to approve the Best Inter- est Determination for Foster Care School Placement form, the Trans- portation Plan for Students in Foster Care form, the Child Welfare Point of Contact Notification Letter form, the Foster Care Liaison Information form used within our foster care pol- icy. Lee Olson stated that Zion Lu- theran Church is open to discussing renting out their parking lot to the school should the need arise. The second reading was held for ABCD: Records Retention Policy. Moberg motioned to approve the policy. Wallin seconded, motion carried unanimously. The Board reviewed the pledge of securities from the bank. Moberg motioned and McGinnity seconded to approve an open enroll- ment in for a student from Ray. Mo- tion carried unanimously. Moberg motioned to approve option 4 of the 2020-2021 School Calendar. Wallin seconded, motion carried unanimously. Discussion items included a meet and greet for Williams County School District 8 School Board candidates, and an in-school bank. Lee Olson stated that Zion Lu-theran Church is open to discussing renting out their parking lot to the school should the need arise.

The second reading was held for ABCD: Records Retention Policy.Moberg motioned to approve the policy. Wallin seconded, motion

carried unanimously.The Board reviewed the pledge of

securities from the bank.Moberg motioned and McGinnity

seconded to approve an open enroll-ment in for a student from Ray. Mo-tion carried unanimously.

Moberg motioned to approve option 4 of the 2020-2021 School Calendar. Wallin seconded, motion carried unanimously.

Discussion items included a meet and greet for Williams County School District 8 School Board candidates, and an in-school bank.

The next regular meeting will be February 19, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. in the THS Board Room.

The annual school board elec-tion for the Nesson Public School District #2 will be held on May 12, 2020.

ONEOK Bakken Pipeline, L.L.C. filed a combined application for a corridor certificate and route per-mit for the location of a natural gas liquids pipeline, approximately 75-miles long located in North Da-kota in Williams County. The pipe-line location is shown on the at-tached map.

The issues in the combined ap-plication for a certificate of corridor compatibility and a route permit are:

1. Will construction, operation, and maintenance of the facility at the proposed location produce mini-mal adverse effects on the environ-ment and upon the welfare of the
