What is a MSDS? The Material Safety Data Sheet ( MSDS) is a

document by which the manufacturer or importer provides information about a specific substance for general use. The MSDS contains much more information about the material than the label on the container. MSDSs are prepared and written by the manufacturer of the material. It is a nine-section document, dealing with toxicity, use, storage, handling and emergency procedures related to any products the government feels need to be controlled.

Dimension is a data element that categorizes each item in a data set into non-overlapping regions. Examples are purchase date , customer tape, customer location, and sales region.

An OLAP cube is a data structure that lets quick analysis of data. It can also be defined as the capability of manipulating and analyzing data from multiple viewpoints. The OLAP cube consists of numeric facts called measures that are categorized by dimensions. The cube metadata structure might be created from a star schema or snowflake schema of tables in a relational database. 3M site is to get customers from all over the world in any language not just United States.

This site makes it easier for people who are more comfortable reading in their native language then in English, which create profits for the site and they are more successful because it has many different products.
