Minister’s Corner In this time we can see that there are many people that think they have understanding of what the Bible means on a variety of topics and circumstances. But they are trying to comprehend something with their own reasoning that can only be understood by the revela- tion to the human mind by the spirit of God. Paul said it is an impartation from the Spirit of God, (or the mind of God), to the Spirit of Man,(or the mind of man). In view of some of the recent rulings of secular court and some of the opinions of some “religious “ leaders in lieu of those rulings, it leaves one to wonder who they are listeng to and where they are getting their knowledge. Scripture is spiritually inspiered and can only be spiritually discerned. I think that to take scrip- ture and try to put secu- lar cloak on it, takes away from God’s intended pur- pose. Which is, to show the reflection of man’s sin, God’s holiness and his detest for that sin, and the mercy and redemp- tion God has given to man through Jesus Christ to pardon that sin. To try and use scripture to excuse that sin, (What- ever that sin maybe), is sin. We need to repent.
