Community development exercise for ACH grand rounds 2013-04-03 ABC City Foundation $110,000 to be given out. The Food bank requesting $60,000 to tie them over from September to December, when they will have another CBC food bank drive. Hospital wants an MRI for $1,000,000 A group of mothers want to do suicide prevention needs $3,000. (Honorarium for training by psychiatrist/psychologist). Local technical and trade college wants to have a swimming pool for Olympics swimming training. $70,000 Downtown garden near an old folks retirement home, wants some benches, gazebo, small café tables and chairs needs $20,000 for labor and material $10,000. Pope John Paul II high school, which is in a low income district, has a large Brass band that has won national Championship competition for 5 years in a row, and the past 2 years silver and bronze medal in international competition, now needs new instruments $30,000. If you are the chair of the grants committee, how would you fund the project?
