Each sense organ collects information about the things around you. With your sense organs, you are able to see, hear, smell, taste and touch things. That is why your sense organs are very important.
But before we start our discussion let us first sing this song

The eyes are the sense of sight. The eyes help you to see the things around you. With your eyes, you can observe some of the characteristics of things like their shapes, colors and sizes.

The nose helps you to describe things through their distinct smell or odor. Nose is you sense of smelling. Our sense of smell can warn us if food is good to eat or not. That is why, it is better to smell the food first before you eat it.

The tongue helps you to know the taste of foods. Your tongue is covered with thousands of tiny taste buds which plays an important part in helping you enjoy the different flavors of food. And the four basic kinds of tastes that can be identified by your taste buds are the sweet, sour, salty and bitter.

Sounds are everywhere. You have two parts of your body that let you hear them all which are your ears. The sounds you hear help you become more aware of the different activities happening around you.

The skin is the largest sense organ. It covers the whole part of your body. Your skin is your sense of touch or feeling. With your skin, you can describe texture, temperature pain and weight.
