1. INTRODUCTION Unique piece of history lives again! The largest paddle steamer of Europe. “Unforgettable”, “Impressive” and “Royal” are a few reactions of guests, who have made a trip with this historic paddle steamer. Once aboard guests will experience the feeling of days gone by, the ship is in a mint condition. This authentic paddle steamer from 1926 is more than 80 metres in length and has a width of almost 16 metres. With a 750 horsepower steam engine, the giant paddles run smoothly. A general refit and a high standard restauration took place from 1994 till 1999. Once on board everybody will enjoy the nostalgic atmosphere. The lounges of the steamer are beautifully decorated in styles of different periods. The old and the new give this vessel a royal look. Even though the paddlesteamer was built in 1926, her technique and facilities are totally modern. A telescopic stage-lift spectacularly takes the chef’s culinary meals from the kitchen to the main and the upper deck. This lift can also be used for product presentations or a surprising way to let special guest enter the party. For an anniversary, reception, company party, product promotion, conference lunch or dinner and any other occasion, this vessel can accommodate up to 600 guests and make their time on board a truly memorable and unforgettable experience.
