This net is for an octagonal based prism. As with all technical drawings, the equipment goes a long way in helping you to draw a complicated shape

with little measuring involved.

Use A3 Paper1cm border, 1cm name bar, 2cm indent.

Open your compass up to the length of one side of the octagon

Mark off this length along the horizontal line as shown

Repeat this for a total of 7 times

1. Home Work: Trace your net onto another sheet of A3.2. Fill in a design with the theme on recycling using appropriate colours and designs. You can add a window to your design also.Remember do not colour in the glue tabs.3. Cut out but do not assemble
