ActivitiesHida 3days + Mt.Fuji• We have planned an itinerary for those who would like to experience countryside of Japan as well as Mt.Fuji. • Upon arriving, Head to Hida Takayama.• Hida Takayama(5.5h from Tokyo, 3.5h from Kyoto) in the northern part of Gifu Prefecture is a castle town surrounded by

mountains. Takayama is best known for its carpenters, who worked on the imperial palace in Kyoto and on many of the temples in Nara.

• Tourist can spend the first night there.• On the second day, We recommend to rent a car and go to Gokayama and Shirakawa-go .• Shirakawa-go and Gokayama are the only places in Japan to enjoy traditional masterpieces called Gassho-zukuri houses.

Several thatched-roof buildings in the Village are open to the public. Tourist will spend the night in takayama.• Day 3, we have planned a cycling event. Tourist will cycle through the countryside. The bike trail will give them the exposure

to the country life in Hida. Get off the regular tourist route and try out the special trails! • For day 4 , tourist will Travel to Kawaguchi-ko to see Mt.Fuji. From Takayama, take JR express,Shinkan-sen and express bus

to get to Kawagudhi-ko. The trip will be about 5.5 hours long.• Kawaguchi-ko(lake) is one of the Fuji 5 lakes located at the base of Mt.Fuji, good place to stay to enjoy the mountain of

Japanese sprit. We recommend to stay in accommodation with the view of Mt.Fuji.

Accommodation

Japan offers a wide range of accommodation, but for this trip, we choose the ryokans (traditional Japanese

inn) We choose ryokans over hotels as we felt that it is a better experience, not only can we learn more about

the Japanese culture, but also their habit of living and lifestyles. It provides us with services and experience that is more unique and localized, not something you can get in any

normal hotel.

This will not spoil the nature environment there. Most of the activities at rural areas is related to the nature and cause no harm to the environment. hence it isless likely that there will be pollution caused .
