Transversal
A transversal is a line that crosses 2 lines (mostly pararell) at 2 different points.
![Page 3: Pablo Canga Journal 3](https://reader030.fdocuments.us/reader030/viewer/2022032414/5681330b550346895d99c88b/html5/thumbnails/3.jpg)
Corresponding angles are 2 angles in a transversal with 2 pararell lines, that are in the same position.
Alt. Interior angles are 2 angles that are in the opposite side but inside the transversal with pararells.
Alt exterior angles are 2 opposite angles in a trans. With pararells. But in the outside.
Same side interior angles are 2 angles that share the same side in the interior of a transversal with 2 pararell lines.
Corresponding, alternate exterior, alternate interior and consecutive interior angles.

Parrarell Planes and Lines
Parrarell lines are lines that go forever but never touch.
Pararell planes are the same as pararell lines but instead you look at planes.

Corresponding angles post. This says that if an angle is corresponding,
it must be congruent.

Perpendicular trans. theorem
This states that if there are 2 pararell lines that are cut by a perpendicular, it is perp. to a line, then it is also perp. To the other line.

they are congruent.

Trans. Porperty in lines Pararell: If 2 pararell lines are pararell
to another li aswell then all of them are pararell.
Perpendicular: If 2 perp. Lines are perpendicular to another line, then they all are perpenducular.

Alt. Exterior < theorem This theorem states that any angle that is
alt. Exterior from another one is congurent to that angle.

•<1 and 8 are congruent meaning they have the same degrees.
•<7 and 2 are also congruent meaning they are the same.

Same side int. < theorem When two angles are in the same side
and are located in the interior of the lines, they are supplementary (180).

•<3 and 5 form a 180 degrees angle and they are supplementary.
•<4 and 6 are also supplementary meaning they make a 180 degrees angle.

Slope The formula used to find the slope. It is also used in slope intersect form.
http://cs.selu.edu/~rbyrd/math/slope/ this is an example from this web that resulted very useful to understand.

Slope intersept form
The formula used is y=mx+b This is used to graph a line in order to
be correct with the given data. Y=2/5x+5
