The P992 and P993 are ideal for variable air volume (VAV) systems, filter pressure monitoring, duct air flow, static pressure monitoring, gaseous leak detection, pneumatic controls, and medical equipment applications. Supplied by a regulated 5V DC power supply, the P992 and P993 provide an amplified linear output voltage proportional to differential pressure.

The innovative electronic circuitry utilizes Kavlico’s state-of-the-art, mixed-signal CMOS ASIC, which ensures high accuracy and exceptional EMI, RFI, and ESD protection. Superior stability makes this sensor the best choice for repeatable, low-pressure measurements.

The P992 replaces existing Kavlico models P582, P592, P593, P792 and P892. For many years those Kavlico products have set the industry standard for low range differential pressure measurements for a wide variety of HVAC applications. Additionally, the P992 and P993 can be specified for PCB mounting with a small footprint. The P993 is specifically configured for control systems that are integrated into damper actuators. Sensor orientation is not critical as the sensors will not exhibit mounting position effects. Precautions should be taken to prevent moisture build-up in the sensors. Key to the superior operation of the P992 and P993 pressure sensors is Kavlico’s highly stable variable capacitance-on-silicon sensing technology combined with our digitally programmable Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC).
