1) Smoke out the Issues-Do I really need to make a decision right now, what will happen if I don’t?
2) State your Purpose-What needs to be determined
3) Set Your Criteria-What do you want to achieve
4) Establish Your Priorities-What are the absolute requirement the decision must satisfy

5) Search for Solutions- Investigate how you will meet the priorities and list all possible courses of action you could take.6) Test the Possibilities-of all the possible courses of action which one is the best, second, third?7) Troubleshoot- what could go wrong, how can your decision be improved?
