KOKOONEligibilityRequirementsCandidatesshouldhaveastrongfashionsense,loveandwearKOKOON(mostimportant!),feelcomfortablemerchandisingandhelpingotherwomenwithfashionchoices,havealargesocialnetwork,beactiveintheircommunities,friendlyandapproachable,beconsiderateofus,otherrepsandthesamples,andbeeasytoworkwith.SalesRepresentativeandAssociateRepresentativerequirements:SalesRepresentative:WedorequirethatourSalesRepresentativesrepresentonlyKOKOON,andnotanyotherdirectsalescompanies.Weprotectprospectiveclientlistsfor1yearuntilthey’vehadtimetodeveloptheirbusiness,andafterthatweprotecttheiractiveclientbasetoensuretheyhaveacontinuedopportunitytosucceed.SalesRepsareexpectedtomeetorexceedminimumannualsalesof$15,000fromJan.1sttoDecember31steachyear,usingsamplesetsinanefficientway.Salesdeterminehowoftenasalesrephasaccesstoasamplesetandhowmanyotherrepresentativesmaybehiredinanarea.SalesReps’Twiceyearlyrenewalfeeis$150dollars(subjecttochange).IfyourstartdateisbetweenMarchandAugust,yourfeeisdueDec.15th.IfyourstartdateisbetweenSeptemberandFebruary,yourfeeisdueJune15th.Youwillreceiveanemailnoticewhenyourrenewalfeeisdue.AssociateRepsmayrepresentanotherdirectsaleproduct,EXCLUDINGCLOTHING,ifitseemstobeagoodfitbetweenthecandidateandKOKOON.(However,itisverycostlyforustoshipandlendoutsetsofsamples,sowerequirethatyoumaximizeyoursellingtimeandNOTsellotherproductsduringyourKOKOONsellingweeks.)AssociateRepsshouldexpectedtomeetorexceed$5000each7‐dayperiodtheyhavethesampleset,althoughtheminimumtomaintaineligibilityis$3500.AssociateReps’Twiceyearlyrenewalfeeis$75(subjecttochange)andisduebeforeeachseason.

RepresentativeDiscountRepresentativediscountis50%offallregularandsalepricedmerchandise.*Technically,thereisnodiscountforthepurchaseofGiftCertificates.*(WhenRepresentativespurchaseGiftCertificates,itispartoftheirpersonalorder,whichtheydon’treceivecommissionon.Becauseofthis,whenaRepispurchasingaGiftCertificate,youtakea20%discountonthepurchaseoftheGCinlieuofcommissiononthatitem)Youmayuseyourdiscountforpersonalpurchasesandpurchasestohelpbuildyourbusiness;raffleitems,donations,etc.YouMAYNOTuseyourdiscounttopurchaseitemsforresale.ThisisgroundsforimmediatedismissalfromKOKOON.4timesperyearaRepmayhostherownshowandcollecttheHostessCredit.CommissionsandHostessCreditsdonotapplytoRepresentatives’personalorders.DONOTenterPersonalordersasapartofashow.TheyareenteredasaseparatetransactionbetweentheRepandKokoon.Whenyouareenteringyourpersonalordertakeaflat50%discountontheentireorderbeforetheshippingcharge.IfyouareredeemingaHostessCreditorG.C.oranyotherMerchandiseCredit,takethecreditthentakeyourdiscountonthebalance,andthenaddtheshippingcharge.

CommissionAsaKokoonrepresentativeyoumake20%commissiononyoursales.CommissionchecksaresenteveryotherFriday.Commissionperiodincludestheprevious2weeks,excludingthecurrentweek.Deadlineforenteringorderstomakethecut‐offforpayperiodisMidnightontheSaturdaybeforepayroll.

• Yourcommissionisbasedonyourtotalsaleswhichincludestheguestandhostessspending(butexcludesshipping,tax,discounts,hostesscredit,merchandisecredits,charitydonations,andgiftcertificateredemptions.)

• Youmayhavepersonalclients–youreceive20%onalltheirorders,althoughthereisnohostesscreditforprivateclientsormisc.sales.

• Therearenocommission,hostesscreditsoranyotherdiscountsorcreditsontheredemptionofgiftcertificates.• ThereisnocommissiononpersonalordersCommissiondeductionsmayinclude:• Pastcommissionpaidonarefundeditemforanyreason• Incorrectapplicationofdiscounts,credits,etc.• IncorrectuseofourFedExaccountorothershippingerrors.• Shippingcostsincurredbytherepresentative’sincorrectdataentering.

GiftCertificates:Commissionandhostesscredit(ifapplicable)isappliedtothepurchaseofaGC,nevertheredemptionofaGC.****RepswhoarepurchasingGiftCertificates...RepscannotusetheirrepdiscountonthepurchaseofGC’s.However,repsshouldbepaidcommissiononthepurchaseofgiftcertificates.WhenrepspurchaseGC’stheydon’tshowupascommissionablesinceit’sapersonalorder...sotocompensateforthisglitch,whenrepspurchaseGC’stheytakea20%discounttomakeupforthecommission.Charity,fundraisingdonations,orpromooffersThesearedeductedbeforecalculatinghostesscreditandcommissions.PleaseseeHostessCreditforcorrectordertoapplymerchandisecredits,etc.

AllCharityeventsmustbeclearedthroughhomeofficebeforehand.YouwillneedtosubmittheCharityShowClosureForm,theorganizationinformation,andTaxIDifapplicable.Weneedacharitydonationformfromtheorganizationtomakethedonation,andataxreceiptafterward.Privatecharityevents:AhostessmayopttohaveKOKOONdonate10%oftheirguests’purchasestoalegitimatecharityorfundraiserinlieuoftheir10%hostesscreditandkeepEHChostessbenefitifhershowqualifies.(A10%donationcostsKOKOONdoublea10%hostesscredit.)DuringthefollowingtimesKOKOONwilldoublecharitydonationsto20%.FromMay20ththroughSeptember8th,AndNovember25ththroughJanuary31st,KOKOONcanaccommodateupto4largerfundraiserspermonthsuchascharityfashionshows,atthe20%donationrate.PleasecheckwithAmberonavailabilityandbookearly.*Therearenohostessbenefitsforpubliccharityevents.

*Wedonotwritecheckstoindividualsfordonations.

*Commissionispaidonbalanceafterdonation,shipping,anyothercredits,etc.,likealways.

RecruitingandKOKOONWhilewewouldLOVEitifourSalesRepsweremotivatedtobringonnewrepsinrapidsuccession,thetruthiswearenotatypicaldirectsalescompanywhobenefitsfromstockpilingnewrecruits.WeonlymakemoneyifourrepsaresuccessfulsellingKOKOON.Andlet’sberealistic,oneofthethingsyoufoundattractiveaboutKOKOONisthatwedon’thavearecruitingrequirementandwearenotanMLM.Havingsaidthat,thereexistsatremendousopportunitytobenefitfromrecruiting,ifyouaresoinclined.KOKOON’srecruitingbenefitissetupasa‘finder’sfee’.IfYOUFINDandrecruitasuccessfulmatchtoKOKOON,youreceive10%ofyourRecruit’s1styearsalesasaquarterlyoverride*.IfyouHELPtorecruitsomeonetoKOKOONwhowasreferredtoyoubyKOKOONoranaffiliatesource(blogger,ad,mailing,Facebook,promo,etc.)youwillreceive5%ofthatrecruit’s1styearsalesasaquarterlyoverride*.*youmustqualifywithyourownquarterlyminimumsalesof$6000perquartertoreceivequarterlyoverrides.AFTERaCandidatehasalreadybeenthroughtheinterviewprocess,speakingtoherisconsideredacourtesy,notarecruitingprocess.Asalways,weexpectthatourrepresentativeswouldwelcomeandspeaktoaprospectivecandidatejustasyouwouldhavehopedwhenyouwereacandidate.ItbenefitsEVERYONEinthecompanytogrowandwedonotputourrepsinapositiontoundermineoneanother.TheCandidatemayhavespokentomorethanonerepresentativeandmustnameyouastheirrecruiterontheirapplicationinorderforyoutoreceivecreditforrecruitingher.ASKHERtoputyournameasherrecruiteronherapplication!Intheeventacandidatehastalkedwithmorethanonerep,shechoosesherteamleaderbasedonwhoshefeelswasmostresponsibleforhelpingherjointhecompany.TherearenooverridesonyourRecruits’salesaftertheir1styear.AfteryourRecruitcompletesherfirstyear,shebecomesyourTeamMember.WhenyouaccumulateaproductiveTeam,youmayqualifyforahighercommissionrateonyourownsaleseachquarter*.*‘Quarter’isacalendarquarter.January1st–March31st=1stQuarterApril1st–June30th=2ndQuarterJuly1st–September31st=3rdQuarterOctober1st–December31st=4thQuarter

Section 1: Logging into Oasis

•  Oasis functions best in either Microsoft Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox Web Browser. Google Chrome & Safari are not compatible.

•  The easiest way to reach Oasis is through kokooncentral.com on the Oasis link. The direct address is URL:http://www.kokoon.net/oasiscrm/OasisCRM.asp

•  Your first step in accessing Oasis is to log into the system using your user name and password. •  Once you have successfully logged into the system, the Oasis main menu will appear.

•  The System Dashboard is the starting point. The “Daily Dashboard” provides quick links, most of which you don’t need.

Section 4: Entering a New Order

•  Go to the Orders & Purchasing tab at the top of the screen. •  Choose Quotations & Sales-Orders. •  Click on Alt & Q: New Order tab on the left side of the screen. •  You can pull up a customer by entering their name in one of the fields on the left. All possible

matches will be listed. •  “Select a Quotation/Order Type:” •  Choose “Start a new blank quotation” and “Advanced Quotation/Order Entry”. Then click proceed. •  Make sure the button on the far left side of the screen is set to Sales Order, not Quotation. •  On the order header you must adjust:

Promotion: This refers to the source of the order. Party codes are assigned by Amber when the party is booked. You can find promotion codes on your calendar, under Task Management.

Select PERSONAL for personal orders, MISC for miscellaneous orders, and EXCHANGE for exchange orders.

PO #- which is the number on the order form. •  Enter the style number in the model #/description search box. Click the magnifying glass. All styles

are entered as the style-color-size. Certain styles, like J1868, have too many color options to fit on the page. To narrow down the selection enter J1868-w to pull up J1868 in white.

•  Enter 1 in the quantity. •  Scroll down & click the Process Selection button. •  Shipping must be entered as a line item. In the model #/description box, enter “SHIP”. Put 1 in the

quantity. •  Once all styles are entered, proceed to the payment tab.

Payment Options

•  Click on the payment tab to process the payment •  Set terms to: Pre-Pay •  Remember to get the payment type (visa, mastercard, discover, amex), CVV code (3 digit code on

Cash & Carry

Cash & Carry are items that your client may take home with them at the party. Standard forms of payment are acceptable. Since the client has the opportunity to try on the garment at the show, all sales are final on c&c.

Cash & Carry is entered in Oasis 3 ways: TOPS- includes sweaters, cardigans, camis, etc BOTTOMS- includes pants, skirts or half slips DRESSES- includes long tunics and slips

Enter 1 quantity for each item they purchase. Adjust the price to reflect the value. Then process the item. In the notes type the style number.

How do I enter notes? Once added to the order, look for the square grey box to the left of the style number. It is below the order header icon that is a paper/pencil. Click this box. This opens a larger white box below the style.

For example: Your client purchased J7173P Frenchie skirt for $69, J2648 mesh crew for $60, and J5118P splendid

dress for $109. Enter as 1-BOTTOMS @ 69 1-TOPS @ 60 1-DRESSES @ 109

Hostess Credits and Elite Hostess Club Discounts

Hostess Credit (HC) is usually 10% of the guests’ purchases- not including shipping charges, any discounts, or the hostess order.

For Exclusive KOKOON Shows (no other vendors) Elite Hostess Club (EHC) membership is earned when the party reaches a minimum of $1,000. If that goal is achieved, the hostess receives an EHC discount of 30% off any full priced merchandise for the next 6 months. Also, if the show is an exclusive KOKOON show, at the time of her show a hostess may take 30% off the balance of her order, including sale items, AFTER the HC has been applied.

Do hostess orders count towards the earned Hostess Credit? No. However, you may include the hostesses order in the $1,000 minimum.

Entering HC Enter 1 HC and adjust the price to the value of the credit. Then process item. For example, a $100 hostess credit would be entered as 1 HC @ -$100.

Entering EHC Enter 1 EHC and adjust the price to the value of the credit. Then process the item. For example, a $42.56 discount would be entered as 1 EHC @ -42.56. If this is placed during the 6 month window, please put the EHC code (issued by Amber after you submit

your show closure) in the notes.

What if my client does not use all of her Hostess Credit immediately? Purchase a gift certificate for her. They are valid for one year. Enter 1 HC for the full amount earned. Enter 1 PGC (purchase gift certificate) for the amount she is not using immediately. Balance on the order will be zero. Save changes.

EXCHANGES

When an item does not work for your client, she has several options. 1-Exchange for a different piece, returning original to KOKOON 2-Exchange for a different piece, returning original to Sales Rep** 3-Return to KOKOON for a credit (either MC or GC) 4-Return to Sales Rep** for a credit (either MC or GC) 5-Return to KOKOON for a refund

GC vs MC? Gift Certificate is used when the original item was purchased using a discount or credit of some kind. Merchandise Credit is used when the original item was purchased outright. Redeeming credits… GCs are applied BEFORE any insider discounts (like hostess credit or rep

discounts). MCs are applied AFTER any discounts.

Quick tip: Anything going in/out of KOKOON, is entered as the style number (ie. Jxxx). Anything going in/out of Cash & Carry is entered as TOPS, BOTTOMS, or DRESSES.

Please note: **Associate Reps may not accept returns into c&c. Returns must go directly to KOKOON.

How do I track orders? Go to Customer-Management Search Accounts-Contacts Enter client’s name, click search Click on the client If you scroll down you will see… Sales/Purchasing- which will list the orders numbers & the status Purchase History-lists all styles ordered by your client If the status says partially shipped, click on the Order ID number This will pull up the order you entered. If you click Pack & Ship in the middle of the order screen it will show what is left to ship. It also shows the date the other items shipped.
