set for tile revival of the old-time car­nival on Wesley lake, was ratified a t an. enthusiastic meeting of the pro­moters of the fete Tuesday evening in Association hall.

While the Ocean Grove Hotel Asso­ciation is back of the pjlan, i t is stated most emphatically th a t the carnival is- to be an all-Ocean, Grove affair pure and, simple.\ -The executive committee o f the ho­tel body met a week or two ago in the effort to settle on a public function for the ■ B.ummer, one th a t would a ttract wide, attention and result in publicity for Ocean Grove. Of the - various features proposed the lake carnival idea met with most favor and was adopted i It will be known as the Ocean Grove Lake Carnival.

Organisation of the carnival forces was effected a t the meeting Tuesday evening. Mrs. N. G. Neville presided as'chairman, with Mrs. A. Weeks as secretary. These committee chairmen were named:

Tuesday evening awarded the pro-, posed issue of $241^000 five per -cent, consolidated improvement (bonds to the Ocean Grove National Bank.
