Shooting
Sports
Shooting Sports will join the addition of
men's wrestling and cheer/stunt for the 2013-
2014 academic year, bringing the total
number of competitive sports to 17. This year
the shooting sports team will increase support
for the competition of those athletes who
have already been participating.

Blake Croxdale Memorial Rendezvous 10/24 - 26
includes a climbing shoe demo—held at 10–4 PM Saturday—slide show and raffle. Proceeds from
the raffle go to benefit the Blake Croxdale scholarship fund. Tickets are sold throughout the day for a
dollar each. Come out and support a good cause in remembrance of a good friend and climber.
During this event Ozarks Outdoors will be rock climbing and rappelling. This is a great time for
getting to know people in our area. And the gear raffle is really sweet!
Horsehead Lake Camping 9/19 - 20 Bring your friends out to enjoy and experience the thrill of camping, canoeing, kayaking and Mountain Biking.
Fern Gulley Climbing 10/10 - 12 A green, secluded valley with boulders and cliffs for climbing. Come spend the weekend on the rock.

A.W.F.’s Conservation Achievement Awards Banquet 8/23
The Arkansas Wildlife Federation’s annual
Conservation Achievement Awards
Banquet features a home cooked meal, an
awards ceremony, and a silent/live auction
with door prizes.
Environmental awareness and education, Planet Club members get involved with tree
planting, Earth Day, recycling and conservation as well as the occasional campout with
Outbackers.

Earth Week Ozarks celebrates the week preceding earth day with a series of wide-ranging events that offer a
variety of fun activities all designed to raise awareness of environmental issues and promote
stewardship of the earth.

Mulberry River in

the Great Arkansas River
and Waterways Cleanup.

Anglers Red River TBA
Join the Anglers for an awesome
weekend camping and fishing at Red
River, one of the most popular fishing
and floating streams in Arkansas.
Ozarks Anglers' purpose is to hold
recreational fishing meetings, trips and
events for members of the Ozarks
community. In addition, the anglers want to
reach students and introduce them to the
outdoors.

Bull Shoals Lake TBA
Miles upon miles of water way in this
man-made lake gives even the largest
fishing enthusiast a rush. Camp along
the banks of the lake and fish as
much as your heart desires.

If you find yourself looking at an animal or plant

may be the track for you!
Ecology & Wildlife Biology Track
If you’re interested in working with animals in
the field, the ecology and wildlife biology track
will prepare you to continue on to graduate
school or go to work in an entry level position.
