The CristalBrite lights have a very high lumen output. Accordingly they need high currents. With high currents there is a voltage drop over the cable length. The lights will only operate with a minimum of 8VAC at the light terminals.

SECTION 5 Colour ProgramsOnly for models CRBT100-RGB-55 and CRBT170-RGB-80

SELECTING A LIGHT SHOW MODE OR FIXED COLOR USING A WALL SWITCH:

First switch power on to the light. The light will go to the previously selected colour. To select a colour show mode (8-11) or fixed color (1-7), turn the wall switch off/on a specific number of times. Each number (1-14) shown on next page corresponds to the number of times to power-cycle the switch to activate a colour light show or fixed colour.Example: To select "Think Pink"; turn the switch off and on six (6) successivetimes. During the off/on switching process, no illumination will occur. At the next power up,the light will come on in "Think Pink" mode.

SECTION 6 TroubleshootingPROBLEM SOLUTION

The pool light is flickering

The voltage should be more than 8VAC 50/60hz. If the measured line voltage is below 8VAC:

A. check the output voltage at the transformer terminals. this voltage should be between 12VAC and 14VAC. Verify that the used transformer VA rating is sufficient for powering all connected lamps.

B. if the transformer output voltage is ok, theninstall a thicker cable between the transformer and the lamp.

SECTION 4 Synchronising

1. When multiple Cristalbrite Pool lights are installed in the same pool, it is necessary to synchronise the lamps. After synchronization all lamps will run the same colour program of choice.

2. To make synchronisation possible, all lamps should be connected to the same power line (12 VAC).

1. Switch ON the 12VAC line voltage and make sure that all lamps light up. Each lamp can be in a different program now.

2. Switch OFF the 12VAC line voltage and wait for at least 20 sec.3. Switch ON the 12VAC line voltage and switch OFF.4. Switch ON the 12VAC line voltage and switch OFF.

6. Switch ON the 12VAC line voltage.7. The lamps should all be on the “Deep Blue Sea”,program #, 1 showing fixed blue light.

5. Switch ON the 12VAC line voltage and switch OFF.
