small presence required, if any for repairs

during the defect liability period, upon

obtaining approval of the same.).

The amount may be refunded

14(fourteen) days after the end of the

defects liability period, provided the

contractor has satisfactorily carried out

all the works and attended to all defects

in accordance with the conditions of the

contract.

T E R M S & C O N D I T I O N S

This tender is according to latest & last “Terms of Contract” by Indian

Institute of Architect.

1. This tender is calling for Furniture & Electric works for Bank of India,

Bagasara Branch, Bagasara.

2. At the time of submission every tender of furniture and electrical work

must be accompanied by a Demand draft of Rs.10000/- in favour of

Bank of India, as Earnest money. Any tender, which is not

accompanied by the earnest money, shall be rejected. The

contractors may also submit separate tenders for furniture and

electrical works. In this case, the earnest money will be Rs.5000/- each

for furnishing and electrical tender. Besides this, the tender fee will be

Rs.1000/- for each tender.

3. The Earnest money deposit of unsuccessful tenders will be returned

after the tender is decided or within two week.

4. The security Deposit should release after the completion of “Defect

liability Period.”

5. Contractor who will get work order, his amount of earnest money will

terminate in “Security Deposit Amount.”

6. Successful contractor has to make “Contractor Agreement” with the

owner, and in this schedule of quantities, Abstract, Filled rate, Terms of

contract, Specification, Receipt of owner will be included, all the

expenditures above agreement will be paid by Contractor.

7. If successful contractor will fail to make “Contract Agreement.”Without

any particular reasons, his amount of earnest money will be forfeited as

a penalty of loss & damages.

8. The tender should quote the rates in figures as well as in words.

9. The rates quoted in the tender shall include all. Charges of scaffolding

lift any tools & plants, excise duty, sales tax, octroi and any other taxes

of expenditure for carrying out the work.

10. The contractor must co-operate with Architect / Engineer, appointed

by the bank. So, that entire work shall proceed smoothly with least

possible delay and to the satisfaction of the Bank.

11. The contractor shall remove all debris etc. wash & clean the floors at his

own cost and hand over the site in proper manner on the completion

of work.

12. The contractor will attend to all defects noticed during defect liability

period. If the contractor fails to attend the defects, the Bank will rectify

these defects and the expenditure incurred on this account will be

recovered from S.D.

13. The contractor shall be responsible for application of labour laws,

compensation for injury & accident to person, whether, employed by

him or by his sub-contractor.

14. The contractor will take necessary precautions for carrying out the work

avoiding any damage to structures/decorative parts of the property.

The contractor will rectify any damages done at his cost.

15. The Bank has the right to terminate the contract, if the contractor

abandons the work or fails to commence & complete the work in time

or fails to abide by the contract conditions.

16. The contractor has to certify the bill and measurement from the

Architect and he has to obtain the “Completion Certificate” of the

work from Architect.

17. All extra item rate without tender will be considered as market rate.

Contractor should submit the rate analysis of all extra item rate.

18. Contractor has to follow the plans, specifications, Architect’s

instructions and all the specifications shown in the schedule of the

quantities.

19. The Contractor may be allotted the whole or part of the work

mentioned in this tender & the same should be acceptable & binding to

the contractor as is the tender for that portion has only been floated.

20. Tender shall go through all documents before quoting rates, and

provide for necessary costs as may be included in either bill or material

or specifications.

21. Tenderer shall give prices in blank column. Entries in English made in ink.

Arrive also at the grand total must also fill in all “Rate only columns”

and sign all corrections.

22. Tenders shall be invalid unless all rates are filled in. No extra conditions

shall be submitted and conditional tenders are liable to be rejected. All

the legal partners of the firm shall sign tenders.

23. Work shall be done in night and day without extra charge, if necessary.

24. Tenderer shall provide for stacking materials in such a way as to

facilitate raped checking of quantities.

25. Contractors shall arrange for all temporary connections.

26. No extra shall be paid, quantity sheets and drawings both to be

considered jointly and Architect is final authority for the interpretation.

27. Site instruction shall deem for proper execution and shall be carried out

without extra charge.

28. Contractors shall submit samples of work for the approval of the

Architect before commencing the bulk of work. The rest of the work

shall be completed only on the express approval for the Architect.

29. The serviceable materials out of the dismantled materials will be

property of Bank / Employer and shall be property streaked by the

Contractors as directed by the Engineer – in charge on the

serviceability on the Contractors.

30. All labour employed by the Contractors shall be covered by workmen’s

compensation Act. Any death injury or mishap to the workman of the

Contractors will be entirely at the Contractors responsibility and Bank /

employer shall not be liable to pay any damages for the same.

31. The Contractors shall give his permanent account number (from the

income tax department.)

32. Ar. GIRISH MARU (Contact No. 94282-30036) will be Architect for the

subject of work.

33. The contractors may be required to make his own arrangement for

water and electricity for the work.

34. The bank will not be bound to accept the lowest tender and reserves

the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning

any reason whatsoever.

35. Contractor in their own interest are advised to visit the site & get

themselves familiarise in the prevailing situations before submitting their

rates. No claim whatsoever for ignorance, misunderstanding shall be

entertained later.

36. The unsealed tenders, tenders not superscribed as the prescribed

tender document, conditional and unsigned tenders, tenders

containing absurd rates and amounts, tenders which are incomplete or

otherwise considered defective are liable to be rejected.

37. Any damage done to the property of the bank during execution of the

work shall be responsibility of the contractor & it shall be made good

by firm at his cost to the entire satisfaction of Architect / Bank.

38. The architects shall have full power to get the material or workmanship

etc. inspected & tested by an independent agency for its soundness &

adequacy at the cost of contractor.

39. The contractor shall examine all drawings before quoting &

commencing of actual work & report to the Architect/ Bank any

discrepancies for omission & shortcomings in the drawings.

40. Bank Reserves its right to abandoned (Cancel) / Discontinue any of the

work / Total work mention in here in above before its commencement

during / or its currency at any time without assigning any reason.

41. Bank has right levy penalty per day of Rs.500/- if the work is not

completed stipulated time as mention in the tender documents.

42. All Drawings are Guidative tender drawings. The detail measurement

drawing shall be as per the site condition & as per the good for

constriction drawings, which shall be submitted during execution

and/or after work-order issued to the successful contractor. The tender

drawings may be changed as per bank’s requirement & design

requirements by the consultant.

43. The contractor has to remove or shifting or replacing the existing

furniture, tables, storage racks cupboards, safes, etc. at convenient

place as per the instruction of Architect / Bank without claiming any

extra cost.

All the powers of work have keep in hands of owner and contractor

01. Contractors must be on our empanelled list and should possess

following valid license

Electric Contractor License.

Electric Supervisor License.

Valid Bank Contractor.

Sales tax Registration Certificate / Vat.

Income-Tax Certificate / PAN No.

02. Contractor should execute 40 % above or below the tender mention

quantity without deviation of quoted rate.

03. Propose plans and layout should be approved before starting the work.

04. No extra payment for Jarry, Chiselling, POP cutting will be made.

05. Payment

40 % of the quoted rates will be paid on receipt of materials at site.

No mobilization advance will be paid.

No direct payment to traders or materials suppliers will be paid by

bank on behalf of contractors.

Minimum 4 working days required to process the bill by Architect.

06. All queries, objection regarding tenders should be solved during pre-

bid or accepting the award letters.

07. Contractors are requested to visit the site before quoting the rate.

08. Contractor should sign every and each page of tender document as

token acceptance of terms and conditions of tender.

09. Piping and wiring should be made before POP work & flooring work

started with keeping approximate length dumped in junction box.

10. Telephone and computer/UPS/ Electrical wiring should be drawn

separate pipes with separate junction box 6 x 6 inches for which no

extra payment will be made.

0" above the transaction top (in

facia) shall be provided with 12mm

thick glass (clear) with cut out of 8" x

4" as per drawing. The edge of cut

out and the top edge of glass are to

be mirror polished and to be fixed in

partition as per fixing details and to

boxing with concealed S.S. finished

'D' brackets as shown in the drawing.

The exposed edge of the glass shall

be finished in mirror polish.

vii) 7'-7" high Boxing (10'' x 10") made

with 18mm thick plywood as per

drawing 1'-6" horizontal extension at

the top including providing and fixing

6mm thick square frosted glass at a

height of 5'- 11"above finished Floor

level.

1 Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of following point

wiring as per the specifications and drawings. The unit rate for the switch board and further to point outlet including all hardware, connector strips, fan hook-American double enklet type, outlet boxes,

switch boards, switch plates, switches, wire conduits etc. A point shall include in addition to phase and neutral wire, a PVC insulated earth-continuing wire
