1. Survival against all odds In this novel, Crusoe finds himself stranded on
an island after a shipwreck. He is the only survivor. He does not have with him food supplies or any other basic necessities. Even though he is afraid, he accepts his fate bravely. He learns to do a lot of things in order to survive. He makes his own shelter, pottery and clothes. As a result, he manages to stay alive in the island for more than 28 years. He faces many difficulties and struggles a lot in order to survive

2. Loyalty and friendshipcompanionship and friendship are important in our lives. Without these two, our lives would be miserable. Being te solo survivor of a shipwreck, Crusoe feels lonely. After living alone for 25 years, he finally finds a human companion ( Mr. Friday). Even though they do not share the same language, culture and belief, they still remains as good friend. They value their friendship and always be there for each other

3. Bravery and courageOne of the main reasons why Crusoe manages to survive in because he is brave and courageous. He is brave to accept the fate that he has to live on the island alone. He faces many obstacles and struggles in order to build a comfortable life on the island. He is also brave because he risks his life to save others.

4. Faith and hopeCrusoe knows that no one can save him accept himself. Although most of the attempts that he makes failed, he has never given up hope. He is optimistic that someday he will return to his country. He also has a strong faith in God. He believes that God will help him through his life on the island. He teaches Friday about his religious beliefs, and the goodness and power that come with having faith in God.
