CRP Specifics• Technical work by participants in the first three years of the CRP includes:
• Collaborative PIRT process
• Development of the benchmark scope
• Analysis of the benchmark
• Two unique long-term outreach objectives – Year 4&5 of CRP:
• Developing and conducting a PhD training programme on severe accidents
simulation and modelling in developing Member States through partnerships
between experienced Member States’ organizations and developing countries’ PhD
candidates.
• Outreach activities in year 4 and beyond include training newcomer countries on
State-of-Practice in Uncertainty and Sensitivity Methodologies for the Severe Accident
Analyses in Water Cooled Reactors through training workshops and fellowships.

Summary / Outlook
One of IAEA-NENP’s major goal is knowledge consolidation, organization
and dissemination to the wide audience of newcomer Member States:
• CRPs with newcomer participation
• Training courses and related publications
• Basic principle simulators (+ hands-on training)
• Searchable databases
• eLearning tools
NPTDS WCR Team intends to:
• Link its “learning tools” and databases internally AND, if possible, to
others, or include available information,
• Continue disseminating state-of-the-art knowledge on advancements in
WCR technology development and research through TMs, E&T WSs
and training courses, publications, development of tools and databases
Thank you!
