The Story of Gold Star Referral Clubs

In 1993, Beth Davis, a real estateagent in Maryland and single mom of two young children, became painfully aware that hard work didn’t always pay off. She was a go-getter; cold-calling, knocking on doors and working long hours, yet every year, she fell short of her goals.

If that wasn’t bad enough, she discovered that the top producer at her company, who closed five times the business that she did… was part-time. He was a mailman during the day and only sold real estate after he got off work. But rather than get discouraged, she asked him how he did it.

“Beth,” He said. “I don’t have time to do what you do. I rely on REFERRALS from clients, friends, neighbors, builders and business associates.”

Referrals will change the way you do business… FOREVER.

In 2007, after a successful real estate career, Beth started a business networking group in Tulsa, Oklahoma. When Gold Star expanded nationwide, her husband, Todd, joined her as Director of Operations.

And that was the beginning of Gold Star Clubs.
